Guest Post on A Writer of History
I'm delighted to be featured on A Writer of History, the blog of historical fiction author M.K. Tod.
In this guest post – The Novelist's Draftsman: Concealment as Craft – I explore the craft of writing a protagonist who must hide his truth from the world around him – and what that means for the novelist.
The biggest gift from Poole of Honour was writing a characted who cannot speak openly. I have spent the movel learning how much is revealed by what people don't say, and by the end I hope the reader has too.

Thanks again to Mary (M.K. Tod) for the invitation.
